LUMINA
Lumina is a skincare brand creating vegan & cruelty free skin products that bring luminous and natural ingredients to your skin leaving it glowing and hydrated. The requirement for their logo and packaging design is to create a gentle, ethereal and youthful aesthetic that reflects Lumina products and their effects on the skin.
The typography was customized and manipulated to fit the gentle, sketched vibes of the illustration.
The illustration in the logo fits the packaging illustration.
Illustration gives the logo and the packaging organic, ethereal, innocent look that fits the brand story.
ILLUSTRATION
The illustration contains a luminous star made out of light rays and energetic liquid formations playfully dancing around - clarity, innocence, purity, youth, glow. The sparkles represent reflections of light against the gentle and smooth surface of the water flows which makes us think of something clean, safe, glowing and hydrating.
Everything is drawn with an imperfect ink brush to paint a picture of innocence, youth and playfulness. The strong contrast between dark grey background and the white logo brings out the luminous and bright elements in the logo and illustrations; as well as making it stand out from the usual light, gentle, common skincare packaging.
